Have you always wanted to try yoga, or started a practice, but find yourself with questions?
Whether you are just starting out, or looking to deepen your practice, understanding the basics
of yoga and a sense of its traditional eight limbs can be essential. In this workshop, we’ll
explore safe physical alignment, as well as the energetic properties of your favorite (or most
challenging!) yoga poses. With these fundamentals in mind, we’ll build a well-rounded
sequence that’s tailored to your needs and intentions. This class is an opportunity to celebrate
and cultivate beginner’s mind, so bring your questions and your curiosity. All abilities and
humans welcome.
Each session will include discussion of a yogic text and it’s practical application as well as
movement, meditation, and time to enjoy the company of others with similar interests.
