Yoga Nidra: Coming Back to Resolutions

Follow a guided meditation through the states of consciousness to arrive in the state of Yoga Nidra-The Bliss State. This Yoga Nidra will be centered around coming back to resolutions you’ve made with yourself either in the new year or as a life Sankalpa. After gentle movement, your body will remain completely relaxed in Savasana (corpse pose) as your mind journeys past the physical. You will enter into the subtle and causal worlds in order to connect to the true Self.
All are welcome. Yoga Nidra provides a variety of benefits which can include a calm mind, reduced stress, improved health, more restful sleep, and spiritual exploration . It has been said that a Yoga Nidra session of 45 minutes is equivalent to three hours of sleep. When in the state of Yoga Nidra, your brain enters into the Delta brain waves connecting with both Purusha and Prakriti and all the gunas at play in the universe. In this deep sleep state, you can explore your deep impressions or samskaras, releasing trapped energy back to the source.
Celeste’s Yoga Nidra teacher, Chitra Sukhu, expressed about Yoga Nidra and sound, “We use the sense of sound to help guide us into the deeper layers of our being, into the causal body where sound still operates, then we let go of even that when we enter the state of Turiya [Pure Consciousness]. Sound can go with us further than any of the other senses…it is the subtlest sense…”
