A Night of Compassion and Humanity, Fundraiser for Humanitarian Aid
Join us at West Asheville Yoga (in person or virtually) on Friday, October 27th, from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM for an evening of unity, hope, and support as we come together to raise funds for two charities. The donations will be split equally between the Middle East Children’s Collective and IsrAID.
Suggested Donation: $10-$100
What to Expect:
- Candlelight Gentle Yoga with Joe Taft: Begin the evening with a soothing and grounding yoga practice guided by Joe Taft. Under candlelight, immerse yourself in gentle and restorative yoga to help you find inner calm and balance during this challenging time. Allow your experience to set the tone for an evening of reflection and compassion.
- Meditative Vigil with Cat Matlock: Following the yoga practice, we will come together in a meditative vigil. Lit by candlelight, this moment will be dedicated to those affected by the conflict. We will send our thoughts and prayers to the victims and their families and meditate on the principles of peace, compassion, and humanity.
- Community Support: This event is not a statement of support for any government but rather a stance against violence and an assertion that compassion and humanity are universal values. Through this event, we seek to extend a helping hand to those in need during times of crisis.
How to Get Involved:
- Attend the Event: Join us at West Asheville Yoga on October 27th for an evening of togetherness and reflection.
- Donate: Contributions made during the event will go directly to both IsrAID and the Middle East Children’s Collective. To donate without attending, please register as “virtual”.
- Spread the Word: Share the event with your friends and family, encouraging more people to participate in this act of compassion and solidarity.
Let’s come together as a community to support those in need and send a message of compassion and humanity. Together, we can help to heal wounds and bring hope to those who have endured so much.
