SUMMARY:[Indoor] Candlelight Winter Solstice Tea Ceremony\, Meditation\, and Sound Bath with RaMa & Ashley Smith
DESCRIPTION:Tuesday December 20th\, 5-8: Sliding scale $49-65\nIn this three hour ceremonial workshop you will benefit from the beauty of sacred space as we welcome the season of Yule\, which is the Rebirth of the Wheel of the Year. An altar will anchor our practice\, and we will begin with an opportunity to discover the medicine of this Season and how you may work with its magic.\n\nYou will experience Cha Dao\, or Sacred Tea Ceremony. This is a practice facilitated by Ashley that has its roots in shamanistic Taoism and Zen Buddhism. The earliest written records of Tea describe this plant found in the wild as Medicine that brightened the eyes and opened the Heart. It was domesticated by monks for its ability to support calm and awakened presence and to sustain practitioners in extended meditation.\n\nAs your heart is opened and your mind awakened\, Ra Ma will guide you with light yoga and breathwork. The practice will culminate with an extended meditation and a sound bath to rejuvenate your Spirit in honor of the Solstice. You are invited to bring a journal to capture your insights that arise during this experience. We look forward to welcoming you in this space of stillness and reflection.\n\nAbout Ashley Smith\,  founder of Pillar of Light in St. Petersburg\, FL https://www.pillaroflight.love/:\nAshley is honored to have been able to introduce the practice of the Cha Dao Sacred Tea Ceremony to the East Coast of the United States in 2016. Being one of the few original students to study directly at the Global Tea Hut with its founder WuDe\, world renowned tea master\, author and Zen monk\, while living abroad in Taiwan\, she is a dedicated student and daily practitioner.

SUMMARY:[Indoor] The Mystical Kirtan of Mirabai Moon with Allan Day
DESCRIPTION:December 10th\, 7-9pm. Sliding Scale $15-$25 \nA soulful\, beautiful transmission of the Divine…Mystical Kirtan with Mirabai Moon offers a passionate embrace of the Divine Essence right here\, right now… in your embodied human form\, just as you are. \n\n\n\n\n\n\nSinger/songwriter Mirabai Moon’s immensely versatile and powerfully expressive voice is most frequently compared to that of folk icons Joan Baez\, Joni Mitchell\, and Ani DiFranco. Her music takes listeners on a journey\, flowing effortlessly from ethereal dreaminess to soulful blues and jazz. \nShe honed her craft studying vocal improvisation with jazz legend Bobby McFerrin and Rhiannon of Voicestra.  After nearly two decades of songwriting and three original albums\, she fell in love with the practice of Kirtan.  In 2010\, Mirabai devoted herself as a Bhakta\, singing sacred chants in Sanskrit\, sharing her profound love of the Divine with others through call and response devotional chanting. \nMirabai’s life changing experiences with kirtan and mantra practice led her to explore other sound healing modalities.  She now uses crystal singing bowls\, chimes and other vibratory instruments with groups and individual clients for healing and transformation work.  Mirabai tours across North America and internationally\, sharing chant music and sound healing in yoga studios\, healing centers\, and festivals. Her offerings guide participants into experiences of profound healing and unconditional love through Bhakti Yoga practices. \n\n

SUMMARY:[INDOOR/VIRTUAL] Full Moon Circle: Yoga and Ritual to Find Your Way Back with Sierra
DESCRIPTION:Tuesday\, December 6th 7:00 – 9:00pm  \nJoin Sierra [IN PERSON] or [VIRTUAL] for moon yoga class. \n\nJust as the moon powerfully controls the tides\, the moon’s waxing and waning offers the key to rhythm and power in our own lives. When we surrender to the moon and align our movement and consciousness\, we are reunited with the innate wisdom in our bones\, in our soul.\n\nI think of this wisdom as a permaculture of sorts\, Ayurveda references it as cellular memory. Although our cells are in perpetual renewal\, there is the genetic thread of DNA that holds our lineage\, our ancestors. They live on in us\, as do the stories of when we lived much more in tune with the cycles of nature\, of season\, of moon and sun. To find our way back to the source\, within ourselves\, is to awaken from the dream that kept us separate.\n\nIn recognition of the power of these cycles and the way back in that the moon offers us\, again and again\, over and over~ Sierra will offer the opportunity to gather\, each Dark Moon and each Full Moon. Each gathering will offer the ritual of creating an altar\, yoga\, breathwork\, meditation and gong. These gatherings are open to anyone\, regardless of gender identification\, who seeks to find their way back.\n\n\nAll moon classes are sliding scale\, $25-$35.

SUMMARY:[INDOOR] Kids Yoga + Art Six Week Series with Emma Berger-Singer
DESCRIPTION:Fridays 10:30-11:30am\, November 4th- December 16th (We will skip Thanksgiving week\, November 25th) \nThrough creative movement\, restorative play\, mindfulness\, therapeutics\, and self-expression this series helps children increase mind and body awareness\, strength\, flexibility\, focus\, and creativity. Children will learn tools for self-regulation\, build social-emotional skills\, and practice a variety of breath-work and mindfulness techniques to use throughout their daily life. \nWe will use art as a means to expand and deepen this practice as we explore a variety of art mediums. Our artwork will be inspired by what we experienced through our meditations\, visualizations\, breathing exercises and yoga poses. This combination of Yoga & Art helps to guide children in self-exploration and self-expression as we get to know the world with-in and around us. \nParents will drop children off so that they can explore creative yoga sequences and mindful making with gentle guidance from their instructor. \nThis is a series\, you must register and pay for all 6 classes. The series is non-refundable once it starts. \nAll yoga and art supplies are provided. \n$120/6 weeks

SUMMARY:[INDOOR] New Moon Circle\, Book Release + Signing for "Moon Path Yoga" by Sierra Hollister
DESCRIPTION:Tuesday October 25th 7:00 – 9:00pm  \nThis moon circle includes a reading from Sierra’s new book\,“Moon Path Yoga” published by Shambhala Publications. Pick up a signed copy and enjoy some golden milk tea and cookies in celebration of its release.
