SUMMARY:Mandala Yoga Hike with Tara
DESCRIPTION:Mandala Yoga Hike with Tara \nMay 5\,2024 \n4:00-6:00pm \nNature has a divine way of knowing how to create the most exquisite beauty. As we hike along the trails  we will collect treasures ranging from pine cones to rocks to sticks to feathers to whatever else nature has to offer.  At the culmination of our hike we will gather to make an offering to our loving Mother Earth by piecing together a mandala with the treasures that we have found along the way. This will be a celebration of the natural artistic ways of this planet and of the beauty of recognizing it. \nA daypack or bag of sorts is encouraged for your treasure collection along the way. \nThe hike is a 2-mile round trip hike along an easy/moderate trail located about 35 minutes from downtown Asheville. Exact location sent upon registration. \nSliding Scale: $32\, $42\, $52

SUMMARY:LSD: (L)ong holds (S)low breaths (D)eep stretch with Crista Rose
DESCRIPTION:LSD is an extended yin yoga class where we will experience long holds\, slow breaths\, and deep stretches. This is a potent practice where the challenge is cultivating strength and flexibility in relationship with your mind and body. Poses will be low to the floor\, holding anywhere from 3-12 minutes. This extended yin yoga experience will allow us the time to explore and understand our physical and mental boundaries. We will have space to safely approach our edges and get curious about self-limiting boundaries. Together\, we will cultivate a tender approach to practice patience\, breathe deeply\, and illuminate the depths within.  \nPlease note: Yin Yoga is not restorative yoga. Like all yoga practices\, if the tissues you are targeting for exercise are damaged in some way\, please give yourself a chance to heal before resuming your regular practice. \n  \nSliding scale: $25\, $30\, $35

SUMMARY:Experience Bliss: A Yoga Nidra Journey with Rachel Zitin
DESCRIPTION:Experience Bliss: A Yoga Nidra Journey \nA 90-minute experience designed to restore\, nourish\, and support your entire being; mind\, body\, and soul. We’ll begin with 30-40 minutes of guided breathwork and gentle yoga poses that encourage you to arrive fully into your present experience. Connect to yourself deeply through stretching while actively moving stagnant energy out of your body.\nFollowing the active part of our practice\, you will be guided through a deeply restful Yoga Nidra practice. It is said that 30 minutes of Nidra is the equivalent of 4-hours of sleep for your brain. This “nap-like” practice will bring you to a meditative state where you can restore\, reset\, and heal.\nWear comfortable clothes and consider bringing your favorite blanket. Allow yourself to be nourished the night before Easter!
