Wandering through this life we connect with the elements. Through the earth\, our breath\, and Yoga we ground deep in our roots. The air is wild\, free and full of possibility. Water nourishes our souls while reminding us to go with the flow. We ignite the fire of passion and light an awakening within\, becoming one with the elements and connecting under one sun. \nCo-taught by Tara Eschroender and Crista Rose of West Asheville Yoga. \n *This practice will take place in Montford Park. All-levels are welcome. Please bring your own mat. Loose-fitting clothing is recommended. DESCRIPTION:June 29\,2024 \nSaturday 11:45a-12:45p \nChildren ages three to eight are invited to move through a series of yoga postures\, imaginative sequences\, engaging breath-work\, visualizations\, and explore a variety of art mediums for making artwork that they can take home with them.   \nWe will explore yoga through movement\, restorative play\, mindfulness\, visualizations\, and self-expression. This exploration helps children increase mind and body awareness\, strength\, flexibility\, focus\, and creativity. \nThis Kids Yoga + Art pop up is “Fairy Magic and Summer Gardens” themed– \nArt and yoga supplies are provided. \n$25/child

DESCRIPTION:Pre-teen/Teen Yoga & Art Summer Pop-Up \nwith Emma Berger-Singer of Asheville Kids Yoga & Art \nJune 29\,2024 \n1:15-2:15pm \nThrough creative movement\, restorative play\, mindfulness\, therapeutics\, and self-expression this class helps to  increase mind and body awareness\, strength\, flexibility\, focus\, and creativity. We  will learn tools for self-regulation\, build social-emotional skills\, and practice a variety of breath-work and mindfulness techniques to use throughout daily life. \nWe will use art as a means to expand and deepen this practice as we explore a variety of art mediums. Our artwork will be inspired by what we experienced through our meditations\, visualizations\, breathing exercises and yoga poses. This combination of Yoga & Art helps to guide us in self-exploration and self-expression as we get to know the world with-in and around us. \nThe class fosters connection among the students and allows for a level of comfort and self-expression throughout. \nAll yoga and art supplies are provided. \n \nEmma Berger-Singer has been working with children in a variety of settings for over 15 years. She received her Elementary Education degree from Warren Wilson College\, holds a yoga certification with advanced studies in therapeutic and trauma informed yoga. and is a certified Somatic Therapy Practitioner. \nAs a children’s art teacher for many years\, Emma loves finding ways to help others connect with their creativity. Over the years she has seen the many therapeutic benefits of combining two of her passions\, yoga and art. She loves using these modalities to help people explore the unique and creative gifts they have to share within themselves and the world around them. Through these practices of movement and making\, Emma hope’s students have fun and gain essential tools that they will carry with them for the rest of their lives. \nEmma loves spending time with her partner and three young children\, moving and calming her body through yoga and intuitive movement\, playing with watercolor and other art mediums\, and cultivating community. She is so excited to continue connecting with families and sharing her experience\, knowledge\, and creativity with the community! \nEmma is the founder of Asheville Kids Yoga & Art\, where she offers community classes\, 1:1 therapeutic and private sessions\, school programs\, and special events. \n
